Gospel music has profoundly shaped Black culture, faith, and history, yet there has never been a festival dedicated to this art form in Edmonton—until now.

GospelFest is Edmonton’s first-ever gospel music festival, dedicated to celebrating the rich cultural and historical significance of Black gospel music in Edmonton and beyond. This landmark event will highlight equity-deserving performers and foster community enrichment through music, food, and cultural experiences. In short, GospelFest is about bringing something to Edmonton that should have been here all along.
